Hello! In the world of Runescape, I go by the name of Havokslinger. I have been a fan of the game since I started playing in the year 2001, when there were no cool war games, fantasy games and practically anything you can think of nowdays on the internet. Back then, it was one of the few games that could be played for free and reached out to other parts of the world in an iteractive way.

 The Purpose of this Blog is to share with you my experience in the world of Runescape, I wanted a place where Runescape fans , and Newbies just starting out playing can come and enjoy hearing about my journeys and hopefully get a few helpful hints while playing this very popular MMORPG.  An approximate six million players share this great world of adventure with us.

I will be posting often so keep checking back in , and I will share with you any tips and tricks that I have learned along the way , so enjoy and keep coming back as we will be adding many other features to this site as time goes by.

       THE HISTORY OF HAVOKSLINGER     

Here’s what the game interface looked like when I started playing  in 2001! Notice the inventory bag, the stats and EVERYTHING ELSE are right on the game screen, as well as all the chat. If you were on world one, inside or near the Varrok west bank area for example, where most selling and trading was done back then- the screen would be so full of yellow chat sentences you couldn’t tell what the hell was going on. (Note the guy asking to be killed for the “free trip” back to Lumbridge, there was no Lumbridge Home Teleport spell back in the stone age here, lol )

Look at the cool color the Rune armor is though. I wish they would have kept that color for rune items! Yes things have changed quite a bit since then! For a bit of insight on my progression through the graphics changes since then, use the search bar and type in the “New Runescape Graphics Coming Soon” post. ( June 21 ‘08 )

 So here’s me at a slowly leveling up 105 *sigh*  free worlders gain levels slower. Most of my Runescape Career was as a freebie. And I have much to Learn about the Members world as time goes on . But I have made it this far and will conquer allof what Runescape has to offer in time.
