Ok, are you ready for a level 34 Vampire? Be sure you are prepared to face off with this enemy especially if you are a real beginner, he can inflict some decent damage and dies rather slowly. So get at least some Salmon to munch on while you are battling this evil Count !
Once you have geared up for battle, head for the gate that leads into the creepiness of DRAYNOR MANOR. This Vamp you are about to kill is not that easy if you are a lower level, so take some decent food. BE SURE YOU HAVE THE GARLIC, THE STAKE, AND A HAMMER with you or you will not be able to defeat this blood-sucking dude !
Heading north from Draynor Village, go straight up through the Manor Gate, watch out for the attacking trees,
but don’t bother with them - you cannot attack them anyway. You don’t want to waste any time or precious Hit Points attacking plants that you can deal no damage to no matter what level you are !
Go inside the front door to the huge house and find a staircase that leads to the basement of this place. You will know you are in the right place when you see the coffin of…
COUNT DRAYNOR…. Muahahahahaha… (ahem ) When you open the Coffin, he will attack you ! It may be a good fight if you are not a mid-to-high level character, but if you have plenty to eat you should have no trouble slaying this cat. The Garlic you are carrying will weaken him, and when you get his health low enough, you will automatically pull out the Stake and Hammer it into his beating heart ! ( eat your heart out Van Helsing )
Once Count Draynor is good and dead, YOU WILL RECIEVE:
4825 ATTACK EXPERIENCE
3 QUEST POINTS
CONGRATULATIONS !!

Now let’s move on, to joining the Phoenix Gang , and how to do that if you are the half of your team on this quest that is going to be in that Gang.
When you give your certificate to King Roald here, who is of course found in Varrock Castle, he will thank you for returning an artifact to the great city and will reward you with:
Read the book and it will tell you a story about the shield, and some lore and hoopla. Now is the time to choose which gang you are going to become a member of. Remember whoever is helping you must be in the opposite gang.
This TRAMP, who is hanging around an alleyway.
Take the crossbows to Katrine, then go into the other room near her and go up the staircase. In a cupboard up there you will find half of the Shield of Arrav.
The little rascals will run from you so, you get a fun little adventure for your badass warrior or mage or whatever, chasing sheep around and clipping their wool ! It can be rather frustrating, but have a sense of humor and enjoy it !
Now that you have brought the package from Sedridor, the Head Wizard at Wizard’s Tower, to Aubury in the magic shop in Varrock, let’s move on.
Once you make your way back to the Tower, you and Sedridor will be chatting for quite some time. He will thank you for bringing him the research notes and will give you a long history of the work he and Aubury have done.
This killer Quest will give you the ability to Runecraft, the Runescape Skill that allows you to make your own Magic Runes rather than buy or find them. You can also craft runes to sell and make a load of gold pieces for your trouble !
Take this little magical item and leave the Castle and head west toward Draynor Village. Using the World Map if you still don’t know the way to Wizard’s Tower, walk west until you see the long bridge leading from the coast to the small Island that is home to the Tower. Once you are there, climb DOWN the ladder you will find on the ground floor and locate Sedridor.
This rather dandy looking fellow is found in the center Courtyard of Varrock…He will be the guy walking around with flowers in his hand. ( There may be other players doing that if they are members ) You can start the quest this way or choose to speak to sweet Juliet. His love for juliet is unrequited and he is desperately seeking her attention. Of course this is where you come in, to make communications between them.
This fine lookin’ dame is found on the balconyof the house right outside the western exit of Varrock. Head into the house and go upstairs and talk to her !
After talking to this padre with the male pattern baldness, he will instruct you to head on down to the Apothecary, or potion maker.
The Apothecary: has quite the afro huh? This dude will be found in the group of buildings located in the southern part of the city of Varrock that some refer to as the “slums”. His place of business is denoted on your mini-map ( and on the World Map of course ) with a purple ‘potion’ Icon.

In the Altar you will find the skull of the ghost that you came here to find, but lo’ and behold a skeleton will come at you and try to take your skull for his own! He shouldn’t be too hard unless you are lower than level Ten in combat.
You can opt to run like hell back to the ladder, or beat this bad boy down like a real man ( or Woman ). Either way, take the skull and exit the tower and make your way back to the graveyard and place the skull in the ghost’s casket.
This “Haunting Quest” will score you a good amount of Prayer Points and is a bit of fun……spooky…..
he will give you a Ghostspeak amulet. This amulet will enable you to speak to the ghost haunting the graveyard, to find out what his unfinished business is, and finish it. It will allow you to speak to other ghosts on runescape ( the ones that are interested in talking, that is ! )
Upon arrival, open the ghost’s coffin. Ensure you’re wearing the ghostspeak amulet, and talk to the ghost.
He will tell you that he cannot move on because he thinks a warlock has stolen his skull. He then more or less tells you that the warlock is in the Draynor area Wizard’s Tower.
